‘Spread your Lovely Words and Not the Virus …’ by Ms Paige Turner
Dear Writers,
Now there is downtime for another three weeks you may wish to do some writing. Please send me any poems (Haiku? Limericks? Clerihew? Sonnets? Freestyle?). And/or fiction or creative non-fiction up to 200 words for the anthology:
‘When This is All Over …’ But even Shakespeare had alternative titles (‘As You Like It’ or ‘What You Will’) so I may call it ‘Life in the Time of Coronavirus’. We’ll see. Do write about your thoughts, wishes, hopes, reflections on this time: what is happening in your world and what is happening to the world out there. I’ll put the best into an anthology and we’ll donate any profits to charity. Ideas for charities welcome. Submissions free and from all ages welcome to info@janmoranneil.co.uk
There is no limit to submissions and a closing date does sound a bit of an oxymoron so just lob your words in. I’ve had submissions from 9 year olds and from Dublin, Spain, South Africa and Birmingham. We’re all in it together.
Give me one sentence describing yourself and where you come from.
