Outside London; Islington,

The intentional fib on last bi-month’s blog was of course King’s Parade and not Queen’s Parade in Cambridge which I altered in honour of the Queen’s Half Term but go on, I’ll give Di Morrish first in with ‘marquis’ instead of marquee.
I have to say, I’ve noticed of late that Mr Double Cream of Uxbridge and Mr John Moore have been increasingly flippant re: my intentional fibs and I love it.

Liked the poem. Not at first. Took three readings to appreciate it but very good. Don’t get the title, though. The Linden Tree is one of the best songs ever written.
I have treasured copy of Pat’s book – signed. Lovely to dip into from time to time and find another gem. Time for volume 2 I’m thinking. Tell her to get cracking and have it ready for the 17th November ‘Dear John DVD World Premiere’ night.
